CoolSculpting fat reduction is based on the scientific principle of cryolipolysis. Fat freezes at a higher temperature than water, and skin and other organs contain a high percentage of water. The procedure is noninvasive and nonsurgical. You simply relax while problem zones of fat are cooled with a special applicator, without harm to surrounding tissues. Fat cells crystallize, and as they die, noticeable reduction occurs.
