What To Expect During Your AccuTite Treatment

Following your AccuTite consultation at EsthetixMD, you will arrive at your procedure appointment with a detailed, personalized treatment plan in place.

Before your treatment begins, you will receive local anesthesia to mitigate any discomfort you might feel during your procedure. Once the treatment area is numb, your providing specialist will insert a tiny cannula beneath the skin through very small, strategically placed incisions.

The cannula contains an electrode that will transmit radiofrequency energy to targeted fat, while an external electrode draws heat through the skin’s layers to the surface. This process liquefies fat and boosts collagen production simultaneously. Your providing specialist will suction the treated fat using cannulas of various sizes to allow for enhanced precision. AccuTite can be performed in as little as 20 minutes, though procedure times vary depending on the specific treatment area. EsthetixMD highly recommends that you do not drive immediately after treatment, so it is a good idea to have a close friend or family member available to drive you home.

RECOVERY FOLLOWING ACCUTITE IS MINIMAL.

You may be able to return to work and other regular activities within just a couple of days. You may experience some mild swelling, bruising, or soreness for five to seven days.

You are likely to notice a reduction in fat immediately, though the effects of AccuTite on your skin’s elasticity will appear gradually. You will see a noticeable difference in skin laxity within six weeks, though the skin’s condition will continue to improve up to one year after treatment.   • Can You Treat Other Areas Of The Face Or Body With Kybella?

    Kybella has been FDA-approved for the treatment of submental fullness only. Only on-label uses are currently available.

  • Are Results From Kybella Permanent?

    The deoxycholic acid substance causes the elimination of fat cells. This is different from shrinking cells with weight loss. You do not grow more fat cells, so the only way a double chin could return is if existing fat cells in the area expand.

  • Is Kybella An Alternative To Chin Liposuction?

    In many cases, Kybella can be a wonderful solution to submental fullness. Before treatment, we discuss what treatment can do, and what it cannot. A thorough assessment of your skin will determine if Kybella will achieve your desired result.
