Do you want a toned, sleek body but are having trouble getting the results you seek even after hours in the gym and watching what you eat? If so, CoolTone™ might be just what you need to get the muscle tone you want, without the work! We are excited to offer this revolutionary treatment at EsthetixMD to our Bend, OR area patients.
What is CoolTone and how does it work?
CoolTone is a non-invasive body contouring treatment that works by using Magnetic Muscle Stimulation (MMS) technology to penetrate beneath your fat layer to the muscles below. There, it uses an electromagnetic field to stimulate powerful muscular contractions, which boosts your strength, tones your body, and firms your muscles. It has been approved by the FDA for use in the following areas of the body:
It is the perfect partner to CoolSculpting and body sculpting treatments we offer.
What to expect
The first step in your CoolTone experience at EsthetixMD is a personalized consultation where we will talk with you about your goals, evaluate your targeted treatment areas, and help you decide whether CoolTone is right for you. When you are ready to start your treatment, we will perform the procedure by placing the device over the treatment area, where it will begin to stimulate muscular contractions. Many patients describe feeling warm muscle contractions at the beginning of the treatment, which is a sign of your muscles strengthening! After the first few minutes of treatment, the intensity will dissipate. After the procedure, which takes about an hour depending on the area being treated, you may experience some mild muscle pain, cramping, redness, tingling, or swelling.
You may notice results within just a few weeks, with the most noticeable changes occurring after about three months. We will recommend the right number of treatment sessions for your needs, but generally about 4 sessions are needed for the best results.
