The doctor may gently massage the area after treatment and ice the area to reduce any swelling.

There is little to no downtime expected after receiving Juvederm Voluma XC with most patients returning to normal activities immediately after the treatment. The doctor may advise avoiding sunlight, heat and strenuous activity immediately after the treatment.
