Prior To Your Appointment
We recommend you cleanse and exfoliate your entire body before your spray tan. It is also best to shave or wax at least 24 hours prior if possible. The day of, we recommend you avoid the use of deodorants, moisturizers and makeup if possible, as these may inhibit the effectiveness of the spray tanning solution.
What To Wear
It’s important to bring loose-fitting, dark attire to wear after your tanning application, as some minor rub-off can occur. During the treatment, wear as little as you like or a full bathing suit, it’s your choice.
After Your Spray Tan
Your spray tan will last five to seven days depending on skin type, provided you follow these post-treatment instructions.
- Once your tan is applied, let it dry completely.
- Do not wet your skin for at least five hours after the tanning session. Showering the following morning is the best option. Black magic spray tan offers a 2 hr option.
- We recommend that you do not exercise or perspire excessively between the tanning and the showering phase.
- Make sure to moisturize, moisturize, moisturize to get the most of your spray tan.
