Skin Tightening & Body Contouring

Exilis Skin Tightening and Body Contouring

Get firmer, tighter with Exilis Ultra and Exilis Elite

Do you have loose or sagging skin around your face and neck? At EsthetixMD Spa & Laser Center, we are proud to offer the Exilis Ultra and the Exilis Elite for non-invasive tissue tightening. If you are searching for a way to treat lax skin and remove excess fat, consider an Exilis procedure.

How Exilis works

The Exilis machines transmit energies to heat the skin. This shrinks fat cells while causing the skin to contract and tighten. Collagen production is stimulated as well. Exilis Elite uses radiofrequency technology for contouring and skin tightening on the face and body. The Exilis Ultra simultaneously combines the use of radiofrequency and ultrasound energy. The Exilis machines utilize an Energy Flow Control system to make the procedure safe and comfortable while maintaining uniform energy pulses. This system allows faster, more effective treatments.

Advantages

Regardless of which procedure is selected, the benefits are clear.
  • Fewer treatments than other skin tightening methods. Generally, treatments are scheduled every seven days with four to six total treatments needed.
  • Individual treatments take approximately 30-45 minutes and are painless.
  • The amount of time needed to see results can be discussed during a consultation appointment*.
  • Age is not a factor. Any adult desiring cosmetic improvements is eligible.
  • There is no need for needles, general anesthesia, or the expense of cosmetic surgery.
  • Because of the cooling system, Exilis can be used to safely treat the face, neck, jowls, abdomen, back, arms and legs.
If you are searching for an effective, comfortable way to treat your loose, sagging skin while removing small pockets of fat as well, consider the Exilis Elite or Exilis Ultra. Let the staff at EsthetixMD Spa & Laser Center answer your questions while giving you the firm skin you want. 541-303-9155

Exilis FAQs

What is Exilis? What makes this treatment unique?
Exilis Skin Tightening Bend - Exilis Exilis™ is a non-invasive radio frequency (RF) device designed to focus heat to varying depths of tissue, s0 treatment can be customized for skin tightening, fat reduction, or both. Heat energy is targeted below the skin’s surface, volumetrically heating the deeper tissues of the undesirable fat layers. This ramps up their metabolic activity, stimulating shrinkage of the fat cells and generation of new collagen. The technology is meant to make much deeper cellulite reduction possible, and is proving superior to other RF options. You’ll see both circumference reduction and improvement in the appearance of cellulite.
Is Exilis effective? Will I get results?

How many treatments are required?
Most begin to see a measurable difference after two or three visits, and see excellent results after only four treatments. Patients report they continue to see improvement after completion of treatment, with final results generally visible three months after the final session.
How frequent and how long are procedures?
Treatments are quick, lasting 30 to 45 minutes, in a package of four to six sessions. These are scheduled one to two weeks apart, with maximum results seen at three months post series.
Will Exilis treat all fat? What parts of the body can be targeted?
The technique targets superficial (subcutaneous) fat, found directly above the skeletal muscle and below the skin. This is the proper depth penetration for treating fat cells with radio frequency. Visceral fat is not affected. Exilis’ built-in cooling device makes it safe for reducing lax skin and excess fat anywhere on the body: face, eye area, neck, jowls, abdomen, arms, thighs, love handles, décolletage, knees, and fat rolls on the back.
How long will it take to recover from Exilis treatment?
Exilis day patients are usually back to regular activity right after treatment. The procedure is relatively pain-free, but we do suggest drinking lots of water prior to the treatment to avoid dehydration in targeted areas and get best results. Continued good hydration is the only post-care consideration.
Does Exilis treatment hurt?
Patients typically report a warm sensation, not pain. Some experience discomfort when the device is applied to sensitive areas of the body, but the cooling device prevents most tenderness and makes Exilis safe for all skin types.
Are there any risks or health hazards?
As a non-invasive procedure, Exilis eliminates or greatly reduces the risks related to conventional fat and cellulite reduction techniques. Any discomfort after treatment usually subsides quickly, as the treated area heals. Of course, body figure and contour are affected by future lifestyle and eating habits, along with other external factors.
How much does treatment cost?
Elixis Elite provides impressive, rejuvenating results in just a few treatments, and is an affordable option compared to traditional laser treatments. It’s also far less costly than invasive body contouring procedures like liposuction, tummy tuck surgery, facelift surgery and eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty). As with many procedures, cost depends on your specific needs and the size of the treatment area. A patient looking for facial rejuvenation with Exilis will pay less than one who wants tummy, flanks, and legs treated. We offer free consultations; call to schedule yours now to get an accurate price estimate.
Is it for me?
Exilis treatment is suitable for just about anyone looking for a non-invasive solution to excess fat and lax skin. However, radio frequency skin tightening should not be carried out on anyone with large amounts of metal in the region to be treated (artificial knees, hips, plates in the spine). A general guide is if you can have an MRI, you can have RF skin tightening. Pregnant or lactating women, cancer patients who are not in remission, and those with pacemakers are also ineligible. Please advise your clinician of any metal implants before treatment.
What is the difference between VANQUISH and EXILIS?
Esthetix MD provides Exilis Elite for its versatility. While both use the same radio frequency technology, the Exilis device makes contact with the skin, and is moved in small circular motions during the treatment session. It can be used on multiple body surfaces, large or small, including the face. It is used for fat reduction, skin tightening, or both. The Vanquish requires no direct skin contact. It is indicated for the abdomen and is most effective for fat reduction.
