During the procedure, we first cleanse your skin thoroughly to enable the treatment to easily penetrate your skin. Then, we will apply the Cosmelan peel to your skin and gently massage it in. It has the consistency of peanut butter and feels soft and smooth. Many patients also feel a tingling sensation. After it is applied, you return home and allow the mask to work for six to ten hours (we will advise you on the specific amount of time for your needs), then wash it off with lukewarm water.
