As we get older, changes occur at the cellular level that affect the structure of our skin, and how it looks and feels. The resulting dysfunction causes our skin to take longer to heal, and produces increased inflammation.

Skin becomes splotchy, lax, wrinkled, and lackluster. Regenerative technologies (such as advanced lasers) and regenerative biologics (such as extracellular vesicles and growth factors) have been administered over the past year at our center to optimally repair, reconstruct, and supplement the healthy functions associated with youthful cells and tissues. Bio-Facial refers to this combination treatment; lasers and regenerative biologics non-invasively support dramatic improvements akin to the outcomes of plastic surgery, but without the risks and downtime.

Extracellular Vesicles

Released by cells, Extracellular vesicles serve as important modes of communication. They transport proteins and lipids throughout the body, that contain growth factors and enzymes that promote healthy cell structure and function. Aging alters this process. Our bodies don’t release as many Extracellular vesicles or growth factors. The resulting lack of activity corresponds with a rise in wrinkles, loose skin, and other signs of aging that make us look tired or unhealthy.

Treatment Process

WE APPLY BENEFICIAL BIOLOGICS TOPICALLY.

These substances are easily absorbed into the skin. We’ll generally infuse proprietary peptides, growth factors, cytokines & amino acids to the treatment area 24 hours prior to laser procedures or other growth factors post procedure depending on desired result. This adjunct enhances outcomes from cosmetic treatments and promotes faster healing and deep skin repair. Adding regenerative biologics to your treatment plan, in turn, supports regenerated cells from within. Your Bend Bio-Facial can be completed in an hour, and downtime can be limited to 24 hours or less.

Results

After your Bio-Facial Bend patients may see calm, less red skin immediately after one treatment session. You’ll see incremental improvements each day. After boosting the skin initially with our regenerative biologics at the second laser or microneedling session, patients generally notice more radiant and hydrated skin. The third treatment produces more even and clearer skin. The fourth and fifth sessions result in improved tone and texture, and firmer skin and reduced hyperpigmentation, respectively.
