What Can Be Expected After A Chemical Peel?

After a medium peel, the skin may appear mildly red for a while. Stronger peels will promote extensive peeling, but will also achieve more dramatic results. What Should I Expect During Treatment?

As the peel formula is topically applied, you’ll feel a slight stinging sensation which subsides almost immediately. Some patients may feel more comfortable using a fan or cold air breeze.

Is There Any Downtime?

There are no restrictions, but we recommend avoiding heavy sweating for the first few days after the peel. Normal activities can be resumed immediately following treatment, with proper limitation of sun exposure and use of an appropriate SPF.

What Will I Look Like Right After My Peel?

Your skin may have a slight tan, yellow, orange, or pink tinge. Days one and two post-procedure, the skin will feel slightly tighter, with no visible signs of having had a peel. Any pigmented areas may appear slightly darker.
